1. People want to see constant new media
2. People also want to see the most popular media
3. At one point do 1 and 2 become stale and old?
4. Duplication is an issue as some items are popular AND new.
5. Should this sorting be done server side or client side?
6. How do you sort these items to satisfy all required conditions?
7. Secrecy of this algorithm some hackers can't anticipate how to make front page with their spamming.
Just some problems I'm dealing with. I'm sure ill find a solution. User testing had been huge in the release of photowhim and am very happy I opted to delay release.
